We are looking for someone to join our team at Wirecard Technologies GmbH, a subsidiary in Aschheim/Munich.

Your Duties

• Operating and planning of an enterprise server environment
• Support of development, QA and production systems
• Install, upgrade and support of infrastructure services
• Development and maintainance of different administrative applications and scripts
• Enterprise-level Troubleshooting and Analyzing
• Conceptional work and project based work
• Optimizing performance and reviewing concepts of the current IT Infrastructure
• Coordination of subcontractors

Your Profile

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline
• Several years of related IT engineering or operations experience in an enterprise-class environment
• Excellent knowledge of linux core platform and infrastructure with Red Hat (RHEL)
• Excellent history of enterprise-level troubleshooting
• Excellent knowledge with install, configuration and support of a linux enterprise environment
• Excellent knowledge of virtualization (VMware) and scripting (Ruby, Perl)
• Good Knowledge in planing and building IT infrastructure for highly scaleable and high available systems
• Good Knowledge of IT Infrastructure services (Infoblox, Puppet, Satelitte) is a plus
• Good Knowledge in working with web servers (Apache)
• Good Knowledge in working with application server (Tomcat/Weblogic/JBoss)
• Knowdlege in working with databases like MySQL
• Good communication skills, including creation of engineering documentation and presentations of varying technical levels
• Fluent english written and spoken skills
